WAR – MEANS OF GETTING MONEY


                                 AND POWER



                   Man  has  always  needed  food  in  order  to  survive.

            Food has always been a priority. Hunting for food was the

            first form of planned action caused by man’s needs.
                   As time passed, hunting skills developed. Man used

            tools he perfected. At the beginning, the man lived alone

            and  hunting  was  simple,  because  his  need  for  food  was
            small. Later on, man started living in families and the need

            for food increased. Men provided food while women took

            care  of  the  children.  That  was  the  first  form  of  labor

            division. The need for better safety and defense brought
            about  the  need  to  join  together  in  bands.  Primitive

            community was the first form of people’s uniting.

                   In  the  ensuing  period,  man’s  development  is

            characterized  by  wars  as  means  of  protection  and
            spreading the power of the community. Bands grew into

            larger  tribes  with  shared  interests  (battles  for  territories,
