Page 37 - Wholeness
P. 37
The human instinct to protect one’s integrity is caused by
the disturbed values within the social relations. The creation
of the wholeness will restore unity between life and culture.
Life in the whole will motivate people to aim high and have
true values. Human beings are inherently seeking for the
greatest good and the way to reach it is through the
organized wholeness. In the future, people who live in the
whole will not need to be preoccupied with protection from
the others. The wholeness will bring about love and trust
among people. Wild and abandoned cat has an instinct to
protect itself and avoid being hurt. A domestic cat, raised in
an affectionate home, has no instinct for self-protection
because there is no need for that.
Equality is prerequisite for justice. Equality occurs in
many forms; equal color, equal rights, equal relations, equal
feelings, equal thoughts, equal opportunities, and many
others. Equality has been considered by many philosophers
throughout history.
There has always been a struggle for equality among
people but without any real success. The strife of the
incompetent is no different from that of the competent.
