MAN’S LIE
At the beginning, lies were simple and benign and
in time they were perfected. Today, lies have many forms.
There are white lies, premeditated, forced, long term,
planned, multinational, corporate lies, etc…
Most often, lies serve some personal benefit. Even
with state or group lies, their roots lie in some personal
gain. Basically, any lie is a lie and it serves to manipulate
somebody in order to profit from it or to avoid punishment
for something wrong a person has done: crime, cheating,
murder, conspiracy, coup d’état… The lie is not innate nor
part of the genetic code. It is acquired. Therefore small
children are very honest. In time, as the child grows,
he/she learns bad things and learns how to lie.
The lie has not been discussed much by science.
Science should study the future and the lie has to be more
deeply analyzed. There are chronic liars who lie even
when it is not necessary or when they brag about
