Page 237 - THE PATH
P. 237
It is the car, the house, the clothes that determine the
value of man – the more expensive they are, the higher
the value of the individual.
The presence of form is ubiquitous. None of us dreams of
working on an assembly line. We all visualize our future
with good monthly income, well-educated and wealthy.
Today it is natural, it is the reality of today, but form is
being distorted, lingering in our sense of beauty and thus
misinterpreting the essence.
A world survey with just one question, “Would you like to
be a king/queen?” would probably give 100 percent
positive responses.
Every person in the world wants to prosper and be
successful, it is normal. Yet, today’s social relations do not
allow that. Someone has to be a chef, postman, butcher,
teacher, electrician... and hence the big problem. This
gives rise to dissatisfaction, sense of deprivation. A happy
person who likes their job is seldom seen. It is here that
things start to go awry. This begins the struggle for a
higher position. Inequality and difference begets malice
and jealousy, which cause distortions in the society.
The question is how to overcome and resolve this.
